Summary: Owen's parents try and convince him to give up his favorite blanket. They try all kinds of things until his mother decides to solve the problem by cutting the blanket into pieces that he can easily carry around. Henkes' trademark cartoon-like illustrations introduce an adorable mouse family.
Classroom Ideas:For younger students this book can be used in a discussion of comfort objects. Also, it has a traditional problem/solution plot that could be charted and an easy sequence to follow.
